Dry Season Tour

| Day 1 | March 4 - Amador |
Depart the US and arrive Panama Transfer to the Country Inn and Suites in Amador. Due to varying arrival times, dinner will be on your own. Air is not included in the package. We can book the air for you for an additional cost. |

| Day 2 | March 5 - Pacific Side |
We will tour the former Canal Zone then head to Miraflores Locks where we will have lunch, then return for a shopping stop and the YMCA craft market in Balboa. Dinner will be at Las Tinajas Restaurant for a typical Panamanian Dinner and watch a floorshow that is an exceptionally well-done musical with local dancers featuring the typical dances of Panama in their native costumes. Overnight a the Country Inn - Amador. |

| Day 3 | March 6 - Atlantic Side or Embera Tour |
You can choose to go to the Atlantic side by train to Colon to tour the Atlantic side. Board the bus in Colon around 9:00 A.M. On our tour we will visit the Gatun Locks, the Washington Hotel, Christ Church by the Sea, the Old Cristobal High School and Colon area. Head through Margarita to Ft. Gullick Tour then lunch on the way to Portobelo. After lunch we will visit Portobelo then head back to Panama. Dinner will be on the Causeway. OR A full day trip to visit an Embera Indian Village. We will go by van to Madden Lake where we will board a "piragua" dug out canoe and go up the Chagres River to an authentic Embera Indian Village. You will enjoy a lunch of fresh fish and Patacones and visit with the Indians and tour their village. The Embera will perform a typical dance and you will have an opportunity to shop for baskets, taguas and coco bolo wood right where it is made. In the afternoon you will head back to the Country Inn. Dinner will be in Amador. |

| Day 4 | March 7 - Partial Canal Transit |
Breakfast at Country Inn. Check out and do a partial Panama Canal transit. Board a boat for a Partial Canal Transit where we will have lunch. You will board in Gamboa and go through Gaillard Cut, Pedro Miguel & Miraflores Locks then out to Famenco Island to disembark. After the boat trip you will transferred to the beach. Dinner at the Beach Resort. |

| Day 5 | March 8 - El Valle |
Breakfast then head to El Valle. Tour the area and the Indian Market with lunch included. Head back to the Beach Resort for an afternoon of relaxing on the beach or around the pool. Dinner included. |

| Day 6 | March 9 - Beach / Gamboa |
11:00 A.M. check out and head to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. We will drive along the Inter-American Highway then take the new road and bridge to go to Gamboa. Lunch stop at Summit Restaurant. We should arrive around 3:30 pm. You will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the hotel pool and amenities. Think about the Spa. Dinner will be buffet style in the Corutu Restaurant. |

| Day 7 | March 10 - Day trip to Gatun Lake |
For those that want to take the boat trip in Gatun Lake to see monkeys, sloth's, birds, etc., and the beautiful rainforest. Breakfast and lunch will be at the hotel. Dinner tentatively planned as a cruise on Gatun Lake. Accommodations Gamboa Resort. |

| Day 8 | March 11 - Gamboa / Amador |
Breakfast at hotel, check out and head to the El Panama Hotel around 11:00 am. Stop along the way at the Summit Zoo to see the Harpy Eagle. Lunch on the way. We will have dinner at the hotel or at a nearby location. Accommodations at the El Panama Hotel. |

| Day 9 | March 12 - Panama City Tour with Last Minute Shopping |
Those that want to shop can join this group. To include transportation and stops for jewelry, artisan crafts, linen store and guyabera shirts for the men. Includes trip to Panama Viejo and Casco Antiguo. Despedida dinner at a Panama City restaurant. Accommodations at the El Panama Hotel. |

| Day 10 | March 13 - Departure |
Final morning we will depart Panama via Tocumen Intl. Airport and return Stateside. Early morning breakfast is included depending on flight times or add-on tour options. |
