Commonly known as Snooks or Róbalos, the Centropomus species are native to tropical and subtropical waters.
The Snook ranges in maximum from about 14 inches - 4 feet 7 inches in length. Snook are renowned game fish that are known to inhabit Central America. Interestingly,
all Robalo or Snook species are capable of inhabiting both fresh and saltwater and are known to seasonally occupy Gatun Lake.
